Business Development Manager (Recruitment)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the recruitment industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with clients who are interested in retained recruitment services. You will be required to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and generate new leads that result in the signing of retained contracts. This is a commission-based role, where your income will be based on your performance and the business you generate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to generate new business and achieve revenue targets for retained recruitment contracts.
  • Identify potential clients through research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations.
  • Conduct consultations and presentations with clients to understand their recruitment needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients and ensure all necessary paperwork and agreements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Work collaboratively with the recruitment team to ensure that client requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote the company's services and generate leads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a commission-based business development role, preferably in the recruitment industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
